YAGYA
Yagya
At the fire ceremony we offer ourselves symbolically into the fire of purification.
The Yagya Shala has been built as a sacred space for fire ceremony.
Yagya will begin at 6pm
The gayatri mantra is the most powerful and sacred of all mantras.
Recitation of the gayatri mantra leads to purification of the mind, intellect, and heart, and upliftment of spirit.
The yagya practice brings evolution of consciousness for the individual, and great blessings and peace for the land and for all beings on our planet.
The yagyas will take place on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month with chanting beginning approx 30 minutes before sunset.
To come to the Yagya Shala, walk along the road from the carpark to hanuman shrine, then approach the fire ceremony temple from the east. Please remove shoes and enter in silence. Bring a cushion and a shawl, and a torch.
After the mantras we sit in meditation. Please sit as long as you feel, then leave in silence whenever you are ready.
